If you’re on the hunt for authentic Mexican cuisine infused with local charm, look no further than Taqueria Flores. Nestled within a Chevron gas station at 3725 Shallowford Rd, Marietta, GA, this hidden gem is a testament to the old saying: don’t judge a book by its cover. With vibrant flavors and a warm atmosphere, it captures the heart of Mexico right here in Georgia.
Start your day right with their irresistible breakfast options, where each bite tells a story. Customers rave about the Chorizo Burrito ($8) that marries spiced chorizo with fluffy eggs and cheese, making it a hearty choice for breakfast lovers. Those with a craving for something simpler can’t go wrong with the classic Eggs & Cheese Biscuit ($4) or the delightful Chilaquiles ($10), a colorful dish of crispy tortillas bathed in rich salsa, topped with a medley of flavors that will transport you straight to a sunlit terrace in Mexico.
But don’t just take our word for it. Patrons like Jon A have discovered the secret treasure of breakfast tacos, filled with options like chorizo, steak, and sausage, which, while not on the menu, are simply out of this world. As Jesse Acuff affectionately put it, "Delicious, authentic Mexican food located inside a gas station." It’s a phrase packed with the paradox that makes this spot so special—gourmet-quality food served in an unexpected setting.
As you explore their menu, be sure to add a side of Cheese Dip ($5) or some Side Of Rice ($3) to elevate your meal experience. Can't resist a drink? Their selection of Jarritos ($2.75) in vibrant flavors like Mango and Pineapple rounds out your meal with a refreshing zing, perfect for pairing with any dish.
While the space is designed for take-out only, the friendliness of the staff and the inviting scent of spices wafting through the air will make you feel right at home, even if you're dining al fresco at one of the cute little tables just outside. As Dresden Jolly notes, "Food was incredible, great customer service," underscoring the experience that awaits you at Taqueria Flores.
So next time you find yourself in Marietta, GA, make it a point to visit Taqueria Flores. The combination of bold flavors, friendly people, and the thrill of discovering a fantastic meal in such an unexpected place makes for a culinary adventure you won’t soon forget. Breakfast tacos!!! I finally found a killer local breakfast street taco. It isn’t on the menu, but gluten friendly, soft corn tortilla breakfast tacos are amazing at Taqueria Flores. Orders are takeout from the back of the gas station. They make chorizo, steak, and sausage tacos all with egg and cheese. I didn’t try them but there are also omelets, biscuits, breakfast burritos, and potatoes to get the day started. Lunch is also very good, but I’m almost reluctant to share about breakfast because I’m convinced there will be a line out the door once people really find out about it. Instead of Saturday morning doughnuts, now it’ll be Saturday morning tacos at our house.

The best breakfast burritos. Try the chorizo, egg, potato, and cheese, and the sausage, egg, and cheese.

Such a great spot! I got the chicken flautas and they were the best I've ever had. Definitely will spread the word about this place! Food was incredible, great customer service and even a cute little table outside the gas station to eat at.

located within the Chevron gas station. food is absolutely delicious, albeit a little pricy for a taquiera, especially compared with other great taquieras around Marietta. No dine in, take out only.

Have eaten here a few times including yesterday. Yes, it's in a gas station but don't let that deter you. It's fresh, well seasoned & so good.
